First Office Tenant Bibby Financial Services Moves Into Hastings’ New Priory Quarter

Bibby Financial Services has taken a lease from Coastal Land LLP, a joint venture between economic development company Sea Space and The Land Group. This is for the 8,186 sq ft third floor of the new Lacuna Place office building. The company moved into its new premises this week.

Bibby Financial Services is the largest independent invoice finance provider in the UK, specialising in a range of cash flow solutions for businesses. Its Hastings operation stands alongside its Slough and Bristol locations as the company’s three main bases in southern England, with the new Hastings offices accommodating up to 70 employees.

Bibby Financial Services joins Tesco, which has agreed a 15-year lease for a ground floor retail unit within Lacuna Place, as the first businesses to move into Priory Quarter.

Further office space remains available at Lacuna Place in units between 5,931 and 23,212 sq ft, plus a 3,143 sq ft café/restaurant unit with outdoor seating. A large adjoining office development, One Priory Square, is under construction which will provide a further 46,000 sq ft by spring 2009.
