Heringtons Move Into One Priory Square as First Flexible Tenant
Posted on February 10, 2010
Hastings’ Priory Quarter business district has welcomed its latest office tenant: Heringtons Solicitors. Heringtons are the first business to take space on the new flexible terms on offer.
Heringtons have taken a large office suite in One Priory Square on licence from Coastal Land LLP, a joint venture between economic development company Sea Space and The Land Group.
Heringtons are an East Sussex law firm, with offices in Eastbourne, Battle and Rye. They have particular expertise in supporting individuals and small and medium sized firms with a comprehensive legal service.
Ron Voden, Chief Executive at Heringtons, comments: “Relocating to modern offices in the town centre is at the core of Heringtons’ plans for the future. It reflects our commitment to providing a high quality legal service to both the local community and businesses in Hastings. One Priory Square is an ideal location from which to do so.”
John Shaw, Director at Sea Space, says: “We are offering office suites on licence terms because we understand that businesses are demanding this kind of flexibility. It gives them control over their business and allows easy room for expansion. We’re delighted that Heringtons have joined Bibby Financial Services and Tesco as our early tenants.”
One Priory Square stands in a new public space as an imposing, six-floor contemporary building, next to the Lacuna Place offices in Priory Quarter in Hastings town centre. Office suites are available for a simple licence free which includes rent, service charge, rates, cleaning and light, heat and power. Licences give companies the flexibility to move and expand that is not possible with traditional long leases.
Further office space remains available at One Priory Square in suites between 820 and 1,750 sq ft, and full floors of 6,600 sq ft for larger companies. Short term leases and licences, as well as traditional leases, are available.
