Watch it Come Down Gap Site Clearance Under Way
Posted on October 31, 2006
Site clearance and preparatory works started today ahead of demolition to prepare the ‘Gap Site’ in Hastings’ Havelock/Priory Street for the construction of the Lacuna Place office development.
The preparations and demolition, commissioned by regeneration firm Sea Space, are being carried out by Syd Bishop & Sons – well known for the slogan “WATCH IT COME DOWN” printed machinery.
Lacuna Place will be a high quality modern office development with the first phase comprising 2,800m2 of space. Scheduled to be completed in 2008, it is designed to attract new employers to the town. The ‘Gap Site’ has been derelict for over 10 years.
